Problem Saving Images

Chrome has worked great for me but recently it has stopped allowing me to save images on some sites. On one site the image save function is a left click (not right click) and then saves as jpeg into any folder i choose.

however recently i get the usual save as box but my ONLY choice is "All Files (*.*)"

And when i go to the designated folder location the image is not there. I have cleared history, cache etc. and even done a system restore but no luck.

Also, I am running Vista (that is a whole other nightmare) so not sure if this is a problem with VISTA or chrome. help please!!

Left click to save image is really strange.. It could be something with Vista, but I'm not sure.

This is a decidedly annoying botheration and absolutely abundant acumen not to use Chrome. The capital acumen I abide is that gmail was accepting issues alive with firefox and ie. So, yes, befitting either of these accessible for the purpose of clear extenuative is one - admitting unsatisfactory - solution
